This is my submission for the 2025 Shovel Jam. This is my first game jam.
Bandits and coyotes are chasing you, so you must start pushing a handcar to get away. Be careful of when you choose to reload!
Controls:
WASD to move
Aim with your mouse to shoot, left click to fire
R to reload your bullets, shown in the bottom right
E to mount/dismount the Handcar
Space to push the Handcar
Esc to pause
Try to get as far as possible. There are upgrades every 15000 pixels traveled. You regenerate HP over time, shown in the bottom right.

Haha, this is good, i liked it. Great first game jam! i like the shooting sound effects and the gameplay. After I complete the match, the longest distance doesn't update and animations (even if just vfx) would help visual feedback a lot, but minor nit picks, good job :)
If you wanna make your pixel worlds better, i am offering pay what you want license to itch devs on my pixel world builder. Any contribution gets me closer to food and stability, but above all else, appreciate your game, thanks it was fun :) <3
